Haydn concert interrupted by cell phone - emotional reaction controlled by reason
Many such venues have 'jammers' which jam the phone signal during the performance. Is this a good idea? Did you like the way the pianist controlled his reaction? Ways of knowing - listening/sense perception, emotion/frustration/ reason as a form of controlled reaction to an event.

FILM - TRUE STORY -Shattered Glass - A Movie/Reality Comparison: PART ONE - ETHICS and Journalism

The knowledge question raised by this true story of academic dishonesty in the media is: How can we know the difference between fiction and non-fiction in the modern news media?

Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet: Why is it so loved?
By Shoku Amirani & Stephanie Hegarty BBC World Service
Kahlil
Gibran is said to be one of the world's bestselling poets, and his life

Knowledge Question - Did Columbus Really Discover America?
NOTE- In this short video we see and hear multiple knowledge claims about who reached America first. Be careful with the use of the word 'discovered' regarding piece of land already occupied by other people. The use of certain words in history can help 'soften' colonialism or even try to justify it. Was America 'lost' before it was discovered by Europeans or the Chinese for that matter.
