  1. Dear sir, Thanks for the lecture on reliability and understanding the basic concept of how do we know what we know, YouTube pages like CNN and BBC, for example, are reliable sources of data which one can rely on, or create links about.

  2. Discussing about conspiracy theories has been the most interesting topic this quarter. More specifically debunking many famous conspiracies has been a highlight. The reason behind the popularity of these theories leads to ability of humans to believe what they hear without questioning. It all leads back to the question 'How do we know what we know?' or 'How do we know the truth?'. Learning about confirmation bias was also very helpful in gaining insight as to how people are quick to believe or make up conspiracy theories. In conclusion, various legitimate sources, like this video, help us in learning about the truth rather than believing websites that claim to know the 'truth'.

  4. Area 51 is a vey conflicted topic . Discussing this topic in class helped me a lot, it has not only made me more knowledgable in terms of gaining knowledge but it has also taught me many things . Now I know what kind of diction I should use while talking about a topic like this (one with a lot of conspiracy theories). I also learned that language , a way of knowing , can be used in a manipulative way to suit ones situation. Moreover I have learned to get my information from legitimate sources and cite them as well.
