ReplyDeleteThe Matrix deals with the fact that "everything might not be what they seem". The inhabitants of the matrix believe that they're living in a present day city, while in fact they are being tricked from seeing the real post- apocalyptic world run by computers/ machines. Therefore they don't know what is real. But my question is, the world outside the matrix is hardly inhabitable and therefore maybe it was better that they could have continued to live in this false "truth". I mean to say that sometimes it could be better to not know and be happy rather than know and repent. Also sometimes our senses could deceive us; i believe there is a phrase "my eyes are playing tricks on me". Also I found this really interesting movie which also plays upon the theme of "what is real" ?
