best movie ever created :D
ReplyDeleteAlthough, the Matrix has been termed as an 'action' movie, some critics believe that there is a hidden meaning in this movie. After watching it a couple of times, i felt i needed to agree with them. The feeling that somebody else is controlling your life is threatening. The repetition on the question, Whether we are ruled by fate or free will clearly illustrates the importance of the movie.
ReplyDeletewhat i really like about the movie is the whole idea of someone else controlling you...and the part where Neo and Morpheus are training when he first enters the matrix, that time they talk about 'air' and if it really exists...so that whole thing is according to me the basis of TOK...how do we know if things really exist or not...lastly i agree with tanay that it feels weird when u actually think about or imagine that there is an external force that is controlling you or your mind!
ReplyDeleteThe movie matrix forces us to question of our belief that "I Know so I exist." I felt that it also deals with the Plato's allegory of shadows in a cave. It blurs the boundaries between reality and reality and fantasy. The movie is an appealing one as it offers a blend of action and thrill along with the thought-provoking element which i mentioned earlier. the film also points towards the fallibility of our perception.
