The TOK Presentation Model of 2015 provides the perfect format for all TOK presentations. It highlights the most important aspect of the oral presentation- making a connection between the knowledge question and the RLS.

ReplyDeleteIn the video, the speakers explain the specifics of the TOK presentation. Through the help of the visual depiction of the structure of a TOK presentation, the video explains the importance of the relationship between the RLS and the KQ and the process of 'extracting' one from the other.

One can derive the importance of the connection between the RLS and KQ by the repeated emphasis in the video. They mentioned some important points such as constant use of TOK terminology, inclusion of personal knowledge and always relating the RLS back to the question. The stress on important aspects through visual aid makes this video an excellent model for the research presentation.

ReplyDeleteThis video comprehensively illustrates the process of extraction of a knowledge question and stresses it's importance. In addition to demonstrating the significance of the initial process of knowledge extraction, the speakers also lay emphasis on looping back to one's initial real life situation towards the end of the presentation. The speakers in the video also mentioned the importance of including personal yet academic examples in one’s argument— something I hadn’t considered before. The model they describe is easy to follow and constantly refers to the rubric which makes it thorough and all-encompassing.
ReplyDeleteThis video clearly expresses the importance of a strong link between the chosen real life situation and the Knowledge. The usage of diagrams make it extremely easy for those watching to be able to follow the process leading up to any point in the video.
