This is not the first time that beleif and religion almost took the life of an innocent child. Luckily justice prevails once again, and gives this child a second chance at life. Sometimes different perspective can take the life of an individual. The parents might be right in their own way, but no parent or religion has the right to stop a being from living
ReplyDeleteThe is a clear example of one's outlook on life being influenced by their religious beliefs and the lifestyle they live. Perspective symbolises one's opinion or view on certain topics. Having an open mind and welcoming to all views is an important quality in an individual. The parents do have their own rights, however, the ethicality of their decision is questionable.

ReplyDeleteAlthough religion plays an important role in shaping the life of an individual, one must not only look at a situation through a religious perspective but must also take into account different points of view. Multiple perspectives will help in arriving at a more logical and reasonable conclusion. The parents may be restricted by their religious boundaries but they must also consider the fact that their one decision can save a life!

ReplyDeleteIn my personal opinion, there is anything else in this world that is more valuable than a life. However, this is my opinion. Some people may believe in following religion to an extent where a life can be lost. I feel it is unethical that the child was not allowed treatment due to a few religious beliefs held by the parents. Religion is often given too much importance and many religious beliefs can cause the loss of precious lives .
